We all carry a wide selection of music of different types to suit any situation. From pre Rock'n'Roll, Motown, Soul, Northern Soul, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Funk, Reggae, 60's, 70's, 80's, or 90's, Rock, Punk, Country or Line Dancing to current chart and club hits, we try to carry as many as possible to cater for differing requests.I spend up to �2,500.00 per year on CDs to try to keep up to date. I normally carry between 50,000 and 60,000 tracks of music of all types. Even so I still nearly always get asked for something that I haven't got. I also carry 7,000 (approx) Karaoke tracks.
I have every number one since the charts started back in 1952. The one thousandth number one was in January 2005. It can be quite amusing to request the number one for a certain date, (your mum and dad's wedding day, or a relative's birthday), without knowing what it is. As well as all the classics, there have been some awful number ones.
We are happy to take requests either before or during your evening's entertainment. We cannot guarantee to play all of them, but will do our best to play as many as possible.
One prospective bride, when sending out invitations, asked guests to list their three favourite songs. She then compiled a list of all the favourites.
